Help for family and friends

Parenting

We’re here for you too

Standing on the periphery of a crisis pregnancy and witnessing someone you care about struggling with it, can be very distressing.

However, the best way to be of benefit to that person, is to first look after yourself. Whether you are a parent, a sibling or a friend, if you want to support them, then we are here to support you.

A problem shared
is a problem halved

Our experience tells us that you will have your own hurdles to overcome, your own questions to ask and your own role to play. That’s why our specialised counsellors are more than happy to provide confidential support and non-judgmental advice to close friends and family too. Together, you can explore your role in the situation and discuss the extent to which you can and cannot allow yourself to get involved.

What to do is up to you

Whether or not you agree with the choices being made by the person you are supporting is up to you. Our business is simply helping you sift through all the practicalities, emotions and realities of the situation and not judge anything you decide as a result. Our team is here to discuss all of this with you on your own or with the person you are supporting and can do so in our place or somewhere that suits everyone.

we’re Here2Help

Whether you’d like one appointment or many, to come alone or with someone else and talk in our offices or on neutral ground, we’re Here2Help.
