What's included

Ward pickup — we don't wait at the front entrance. Our companion checks in at the nurses' station and walks your relative out from the ward.
Prescriptions and instructions — companion collects any discharge medication, listens carefully to the nurse's instructions, makes sure nothing is forgotten.
Walking aids and belongings — Zimmer frame, walking stick, hospital bag, overnight kit, shoes left in the locker. Nothing left behind.
Gentle, careful driving — appropriate route, smooth speed, climate set comfortably. We know the difference between a regular taxi run and a post-procedure drive.

When you need more than the base service

The base Discharge Escort runs roughly 1.5 to 2 hours — pickup, drive, settling. If your relative needs more, you can extend in 30-minute increments at €30/hour, either at booking time or on the day:

Post-op recovery — add 2-4 hours for meal prep, medication setup, settling time. See Post-Op Support.
Full day with your relative — add 4-6 hours for cancer-treatment recovery or extended post-op care.
Accompaniment to an appointment (not a discharge) — book a Hospital Visit Companion instead.
